Feyenoord chief Eric Gudde says they hope to bring Manchester City striker John Guidetti back to Rotterdam in January.

However, Gudde insists they'll finance the deal themselves.

He was reacting to reports that a local real estate magnate had approached several businessmen about coming together to fund Guidetti's signing.

"No matter how well intended, attracting a player through donations from supporters is not the way," argued Gudde.
