Juventus coach Ciro Ferrara wasn't totally satisfied after their 1-0 defeat of Chievo Verona.
Vincenzo Iaquinta struck the winner for Juve and Ferrara said afterwards: "It was a perfect first half, but after the break some tiredness set in and the gaps between the areas of the team started to appear.
"Chievo are an excellent side and pushed up the field, creating a few problems for us. We were unable to hurt them on the counter and started to stretch out.
"I am very happy with the victory, as it was important to start with a win in front of our own fans. I am also happy for those players who had some problems last year and did very well today."
In Diego's five-star performance, Ferrara added: "He showed real character.
"Diego is a player of great quality and our football moves through him."
