Juventus coach Ciro Ferrara admits the club must fall on it's sword over the Fabio Cannavaro blow-up.
Juve risk a fine after botched paperwork led to Cannavaro testing positive on a drugs test.
He had been given an anti-inflammatory injection to prevent shock following a wasp sting in August, but one of the letters informing the FIGC went missing.
"Something didn't work in our process," admitted Ferrara. "The main thing is that Fabio is completely exonerated of any fault.
"There had been talk of this nasty sting at the time and he required quite a lot of treatment for it. The fact he is so well-known, the captain of the Nazionale and plays for Juventus is what made it headline news."
