Former Athletic Bilbao and Espanyol coach Luis Fernandez has put his hand up for Abel Resino's job at Atletico Madrid.

The Frenchman said: "Yes I would like to train Atleti.

"It's a big club and anyone would like it. But Abel has a contract and I do not plan anything when a fellow coach is still working at the club."
