Manchester United are watching Borussia Dortmund defender Mats Hummels.
TMW says United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has Hummels under consideration as he considers strengthening his injury-hit defence in January.
For the moment, Ferguson is having Hummels assessed, with no immediate plan of a formal approach to open talks with BVB over a fee for the defender.
