Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is confident Paul Pogba will sign a new contract.

United have agreed terms with Pogba and are hoping the French midfielder signs before the end of the season.

Pogba has also been offered a lucrative deal by Juventus, but Fergie said: "We've agreed a deal with his agent and now it's just down to the boy.

"He knows what the ­qualities are, what United have got to offer.

"He knows his future is guaranteed here. He is going to be a first-team player here, without question."
