Ferguson opens door for Man Utd youngster Pogba

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson suggests that young gun Paul Pogba could be given a European chance tomorrow night.

The Red Devils take on Ajax at Old Trafford in the Europa League Round of 32 second leg following last week's 2-0 win in Amsterdam, and Ferguson has indicated that the 18-year old French midfielder could get a run although he has some more experienced players to think about as well.

"It is possible we could give Pogba a run-out," said Ferguson.

"It depends because there are a lot of players who need a game; Nani, Young, Hernandez, Cleverley, Smalling, Jones.

"Those players will all play tomorrow and we hope to put a sprinkling of experience amongst it."
