Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson believes Carlos Tevez is not worth £25million and wonders if Manchester City made the right choice in paying that fee for him. Tevez joined United's cross-town rivals after turning down an offer from them but Ferguson said he was happy to do the deal because of the fee.
"The fans quite rightly have their heroes and I respect the fans so I was happy to go along with a deal as long as it was the right deal," Ferguson said.
"Our success is down to the fans and their support, we need them when we are away from home to the likes of Fulham and Arsenal but he was simply not worth £25m."
