New Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp continues his shake up of his backroom staff with the appointment of former Spurs forward Les Ferdinand as a strikers' consultant. The 41-year-old has now accepted an offer to work with Redknapp as a consultant for the club's strikers.

Ferdinand spent five-and-a-half years as a Spurs player, scoring 39 goals in 149 appearances after his £6million arrival from Newcastle United in 1997.
