Rio Ferdinand has enjoyed international week at Manchester United.
The veteran defender is happy working with the club's young players.
"It's quiet but it's good," Ferdinand told MUTV. "I think the plus side of it is the senior pros at the club get to train with the younger lads in the squad and the Reserve-team players who make up the numbers.
"So you get to see how they're progressing and it's good they're involved because you can speak to them and get a bit closer to them in that sense.
"This is a good time, especially for the likes of myself, Giggsy and Scholesy, as we can work on our fitness. If we have to put in extra mileage to keep ourselves teetering on the edge, we can do that this week."
