Rio Ferdinand is fighting fit for a Manchester United return.
The Daily Star says Ferdinand has been sidelined with a groin problem for United's last two games. But the former England defender has been undergoing intensive treatment during the international break from United's medical staff.
Now he is confident of returning a week tomorrow.
His comeback will be a big boost to boss David Moyes, who has suffered a torrid start to his Old Trafford career.
