Seemingly exit-bound Fenerbahce coach Zico has indicated that he would be very interested in coaching in the Premier League during an interview on Brazilian television on Monday.
The Flamengo legend impressed as he led Fenerbahce to the quarter finals of this season's Champions League, before eventually succumbing at the hands of Chelsea.
With it looking unlikely that he will sign an extension to his contract at the Turkish giants, Zico had been linked with a number of clubs, including Lazio and Benfica.
"I would like to work in England. I find that place very interesting," he told the program 'Bem, Amigos' on SporTV.
"My plan is to continue in Europe and I am determined to do so. I am thankful to Fenerbahce for the opportunity that they gave me and I believe that I repaid their faith with good work on the pitch.
I have some possibilities lined up and hope that I can soon conclude one of them. My problem with Fenerbahce was not money, but the professional direction of the club."
