Fenerbahce have joined the battle for AC Milan midfielder Nigel de Jong.

The Dutch comes off contract in June and is ready to leave the Rossoneri this summer.

De Jong has been linked with a Bosman move to Manchester United and also a switch to Juventus this week.

However, TMW says Fenerbahce are in contact and hope to tempt De Jong to Istanbul.

Fener have plans to build a Champions League challenging team this summer.
