Fenerbahce have announced they've opened talks with Chelsea for Raul Meireles.

Fener have confirmed to the Turkish stock market that they are in talks with Chelsea over the Portuguese international, with the transfer window in Turkey staying open until later this week.

"We have started discussions to transfer Chelsea Football Club player Raul Meireles to our club," said the Fener statement.
