Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini insists they deserve a top four finish this season.

Fellaini grabbed the winner at Crystal Palace yesterday.

"It was a massive win," the Belgium international told MUTV. "All the players, the manager and the staff are very happy. I think we do [deserve a place in the top four], but we will see if we get it after the Chelsea-Liverpool game."

The Reds had to dig deep to take the spoils from a game in which Crystal Palace pushed the visitors all the way and Fellaini was quick to credit United's indefatigable team spirit.

"The group is experienced and the spirit is unbelievable, so we have to keep going," he added. "We showed today that the spirit is there today, so it is good for the future."
