David Nugent reveals that manager Claudio Ranieri is not afraid to speak his mind if things do not go according to plan.

Ranieri has a calm and polite persona whenever he talks to the media but striker Nugent has revealed that the Italian does not shy away from giving his players the hairdryer treatment if he is not happy.

Nugent told the Leicester Mercury: "He is a feisty character in his team talks. He is not shy to tell us if he thinks we are doing stuff wrong, but he will praise us if we are doing things right.

"Everyone is trying to please him in the right ways and trying to get into the squad for the Sunderland game."

The Foxes begin the new Premier League season under Ranieri with a home fixture against Sunderland on August 8
