Feilhaber departs AGF Aarhus to sign MLS contract

Feilhaber departs AGF Aarhus to sign MLS contract Benny Feilhaber has left Danish club AGF Aarhus to sign a deal with Major League Soccer.

The 26-year old Brazilian-born USA attacking midfielder agreed to a contract with MLS ahead of Friday's international transfer deadline and will be now be assigned to a club per league rules on returning US players.

Current allocation rankings suggest that Chivas USA will be the recipient of his services but they still need to decide whether or not they will use their allocation position to have Feilhaber join them at The Home Depot Center.

If they do so, they will fall to the bottom of the allocation ranking but will acquire a quality player who has represented the USA close to 40 times and has spent time in England with Derby County and in Germany with Hamburg.
