Manchester City's move for AS Roma midfielder Daniele de Rossi is back on.
Corriere dello Sport says De Rossi's new contract negotiations with Roma remain as difficult as ever. De Rossi, now inside the final year of his current deal, is unimpressed with the behaviour of Roma's new owners towards him and is seriously considering a move away.
Roma's last offer was for €4 million-a-year - which falls well short of the €7 million-a-year deal tabled by City to his representatives.
Sources close to the player say he is now leaning towards a new adventure in England with City.
