Madrid media sources say the fullback is fed-up with the way he's been treated by coach Carlo Ancelotti and wants to move on.
Arbeloa is also upset by the constant barracking of home fans.
The former Liverpool defender was hooked midway through the second-half of victory over Cordoba by Ancelotti, a decision which was greeted by bronx cheers from Real fans.
Chelsea and Napoli are being linked with Arbeloa this week.
