Tottenham are yet to make a formal approach to FC Zurich for young fullback Loris Benito.
The U21 Switzerland international has been recommended to Spurs by their former defender Ramon Vega.
However, Fichajes.com says the Londoners are yet to make contact with Zurich to register their interest.
Spurs may also face a battle to convince Benito about moving to England as he favours pursuing a career in Spanish football.
