FC Twente are in talks with departing Manchester United coach Rene Meulensteen.

The Daily Mail says he is already attracting interest in his homeland. FC Twente are keen to appoint him as their new manager and are believed to have made initial contact.

But they are only prepared to offer him a 12-month deal, and it is understood he has already declined it.
