Dutch club FC Twente are reportedly showing strong interest in Chicago Fire midfielder Marco Pappa.
The 23-year old Guatemala international is believed to be on a transfer list of wanted players held by Twente according to elegraaf.nlbut would cost them around $US2.1million (1.5m).
The fact that the summer transfer window for MLS closes on Sunday night suggests that this move, if it were to happen, would not occur until the end of the season.
Pappa has been in good touch with the Fire this season, scoring five goals in 19 appearances in this his fourth MLS campaign.
