FC Koln coach Peter Stoger is desperate not to lose star striker Anthony Modeste.

Modeste, 28, is being linked with a January move to England at West Brom.

After ten goals in ten games just season, Stoger is eager to keep hold of the striker.

"Anthony has character, we know this quite precisely," he said. "He is a team player - and the team is there for him. This community spirit is important for his goalscoring form. But most importantly, he took a very conscious decision for this club in the summer for himself and his family. This has made him freer and helps him with his targets."
