Dutch striker Ruud ter Heide is being linked with a move to Championship club Middlesbrough.
The 27-year old, who is currently on loan with FC Emmen from Cambuur-Leeuwarden, is keen to leave his parent club where is contracted and wants a deal resolved shortly.
"I hope my future will be decided in the next few weeks," he told RTV.
"Things are also dependent on the trainer at Cambuur. If he stays, I would rather not go back again.
"It is no secret that we don't like each other."
It is reported that Middlesbrough will face competition from Scotland's Dundee United for the ex-FC Twente and Werder Bremen man.
