Kenny Cooper scored four second-half goals as FC Dallas cruised to a 9-0 preseason victory over Florida International University at the Central Broward Regional Park Cricket Stadium in Sunrise, Florida. After months of speculation regarding the 24 year old's future with Dallas, Cooper is having no problem finding the net for his team in pre-season preparations for the 2009 season.

Cooper's first goal came in the 58th minute when he got his head on the end of a Jamie Watson cross. Andre Rocha set up Cooper for his second. Cooper added his third in the 73rd minute from a Blake Wagner cross. Cooper's fourth goal came 10 minutes later, when he slotted home a cross from forward Sean Bucknor.

FC Dallas face the Chicago Fire at home on 21st March in their 2009 season opener.
