FC Dallas captain Daniel Hernandez says he is not worried by his teams apparent lack of size ahead of this weekend's Western Conference final against the LA Galaxy.
In comparison to their opponents, Dallas are quite undersized and actually fall to the bottom of both average height and weight lists for the entire MLS but that doesn't stop them packing a mean punch according to Hernandez.
"We're one of the best teams whether it's featherweights or heavyweights," he said. "It doesn't matter. I think we're one of the better teams in the league and we can match up to anybody."
And as for this weekend's meeting with the much taller Galaxy, Hernandez had a plan in place.
"Obviously LA has great size on their side. But we have short guys who can jump really high," he quipped.
