2010 MLS runners-up FC Dallas moved up to fourth on the Western Conference table with a 1-0 win over ten-man Toronto FC on Wednesday night.
The Texans received a penalty in the 45th minute when Adrian Cann brought down George John in the area with captain Daniel Hernandez stepping up to the spot. Before the penalty kick was taken, TFC assistant Bob de Klerk was sent from the technical area for questioning the decision.
However, Hernandez eventually took the shot in injury time, sending Stefan Frei the wrong way to give his side the lead which they held onto to record their fourth win of the season, sending them fourth as Toronto remained seventh in the East.
