FC Dallas have confirmed that defender George John is pursuing an opportunity to join an overseas club.
A post in the club's official Twitter page read: "George John is currently out of the country having conversations about a potential transfer opportunity..."
The 24-year old, who was a target for Premier League outfit Blackburn Rovers in the summer, has been given permission to depart the USA national squad's training camp but the identity of the club in pursuit is currently undisclosed.
