FC Dallas technical director Fernando Clavijo insists he does not want the head coaching role at the club.
The Texan outfit are on the search for a replacement for Schellas Hyndman, who has stepped down after six years at the helm, but Clavijo has made it clear that he is in no way looking to become the new boss.
"I'm very happy right now with my role as the technical director," said Clavijo. "I came here not to be the head coach.
"I came here to help the coach put a team together. I'm not interested whatsoever in the job here.
"I think that we have at least three weeks to be able to interview coaches and put a coach in place. If we don't, we're going to have to make some decisions based on what we know about the team."
