FC Dallas head coach Schellas Hyndman's is extremely happy with his team's draft picks Peri Marosevic, George John and Brian Shriver. He said: "Myself and our staff, we worked three months preparing for this draft, preparing and identifying players.

"We travelled the whole country identifying players, so when we got to the combine, we already had an idea of our top players. And some of them stepped up, and some didn't. But when we got to this stage, we had a list of players that we wanted, and we were fortunate that it fell in for us that all three players that we drafted, are players that were on our list to get."

FC Dallas start 2009 pre-season training on January 21st.
