FC Dallas have expressed interest in Manchester United outcast Bastian Schweinsteiger.

FC Dallas were looking for an overseas striker, but chief Dan Hunt says that if Schweinsteiger becomes available then those plans could change.

“He is an incredible player," Hunt said. "I always admired him and the success that his teams had. That is no coincidence, he is a winner.

“At the moment we only have space for one designated player and we wanted to fill this with a striker. Maybe it changes, we will see."
