Inter Milan chief Marco Fassone has explained the collapse of their deal for Juventus striker Mirko Vucinic.
Vucinic was set to join Inter in exchange for Fredy Guarin before the move was blocked by club owner Erick Thohir.
"I am absolutely not considering a resignation. We clarified the situation and tomorrow will be at work to win," director general Fassone told Sky Sport Italia.
"What we said with the fans will remain between us. We simply communicated certain ideas that had not been put across very clearly before.
"The reasoning is different, but we understood each other and I focused on understanding their feelings.
"There are many motivations that pushed us towards rejecting this operation, economic, technical and environmental issues.
"All together they prompted us to not complete the transfer. Of course we discussed it with Coach Walter Mazzarri too.
"We are now working on a new transfer strategy and over the next 10 days will try to improve the team within these parameters."
