Fans offer to help Sparta Prague fund deal for Arsenal veteran Rosicky

Sparta Prague are moving for Arsenal veteran Tomas Rosicky.

The Mirror says Sparta fans have planned a whip round in an attempt to entice former star Tomas Rosicky back to the club where he started his career.

Sparta supporters sent a letter to club owner Daniel Kretinsky to say they would contribute to Rosicky's wages should he return.

"If you decide to bring Tomas Rosicky to Sparta, we are ready to contribute with some finances for the transfer's realisation," the letter states.

At the moment we cannot promise a particular financial amount.

"But we are ready to do maximum, to inspire Sparta fans to raise the sum as high as it can be.

"We will actively and fully support also some related activities of the club, for example the sale of Tomas's shirt, and special souvenirs."
