Some sections of supporters booed Raheem Sterling at Liverpool's end-of-season awards night on Tuesday.
The 20-year old winger, who remains in contract negotiations with the club, reportedly told manager Brendan Rodgers recently that he wants to leave Anfield.
Upon receiving his Young Player of the Year award at the Echo Arena, some of the estimated 3,000 supporters yelled 'stay, Raheem!' while others booed and jeered the England international.
Sterling is being linked with a possible move back to his home city of London where Arsenal and Chelsea have both been credited with an interest.
Sterling beat off competition from Emre Can and Lazar Markovic to win Liverpool's Young Player of the Year.
