Falkirk boss John Hughes is being touted as the front-runner to take over at Championship outfit Blackpool, reports the Daily Mail. Hughes has been Falkirk manager for six years, during which time he has guided the club to two First Division titles, a Bell's Cup triumph and two CIS Cup semi-finals in the last three seasons.
A spokesman for Blackpool said: "We have not spoken to anyone about the position.
"We are currently happy with the job Tony Parkes and Steve Thompson are doing."
