Manchester United have confirmed that Radamel Falcao will return to parent club AS Monaco.
The Colombian striker, 29, spent this season on loan at Old Trafford but will not be returning next season after Louis van Gaal revealed he would be leaving.
"Falcao is a top professional and a good human being. On behalf of myself and everyone at the club I would like to wish him well for the future," van Gaal said on United's official website.
Former FC Porto and Atletico Madrid star Falcao scored four goals in 29 appearances in all competitions for the Red Devils.
