Fabregas may leave if Arsenal don't make CL - Adebayor

Former Arsenal player Emmanuel Adebayor believes Cesc Fabregas may leave the club if they don't qualify for this season's Champions League.

Arsenal have to get over Celtic to qualify for the European competition and Adebayor, who left the Gunners for Manchester City this summer, believes the Spaniard will walk if they do not achieve that target.

"I think it's possible they could lose Cesc if they don't get into the Champions League," Adebayor was quoted as saying in the Sunday Mirror.

"Cesc is a very good player. I have played with Thierry Henry and Dennis Bergkamp, but I would go for Cesc as the best I have played with.

"He has good vision and in one pass he can change the game. Since he was 16 he has enjoyed Arsenal, so for him it will be a blow if they are not in the Champions League.

"If that happens there is a chance that Cesc and the other big players will leave.

"He's an intelligent person and at the right moment, he will make the right decision."
