FA unimpressed by Vardy's Leicester negotiations

The Football Association are believed to be unhappy with Jamie Vardy's decision to sign a new contract with Leicester City during the European Championships, according to reports from the Daily Express.

It was confirmed on Thursday that Vardy had rejected the advances of Arsenal to put pen to paper on a reported £100,000-per-week deal with Premier League champions Leicester.

The saga coming to an end would have served as a huge relief to England national team fans but reports claim that the FA ,as well as manager Roy Hodgson, are unhappy with the transfer negotiations taking place during a crucial period of the Three Lions' Euro2016 campaign.

England meet Iceland in the Round of 16 in Nice on Monday.
