Al Ahly defender Ahmed Hegazy is being tipped to handle the step up to the Premier League.
The Egypt international, 26, has been a long-term target for Hull City and is also interesting West Brom football chief Richard Garlick this summer.
Hegazy has previous European experience, having spent three years in Italy with Fiorentina and Perugia, and Omar Ismail Youssef is convinced he would succeed in England if offered the chance.
Former Zamalek midfielder Omar, nicknamed Tigana in Egypt, likens Hegazy to Bayern Munich defender Mats Hummels.
He told Tribalfootball.com: "Ahmed Hegazy is very good centre-back and I think he has the qualities to play in Premier League because of his aerial abilities.
"He is a solid defender. He's the Egyptian Hummels, not very fast but a great defender."
