Former Zenit St Petersburg coach Vlastimil Petrzhela has dismissed talk of Spartak Moscow signing Davinson Sanchez.
The Tottenham defender is being linked with Spartak, but Petrzhela says any deal won't be a threat to Zenit.
He told Metaratings: "As far as I know, Sanchez did not play regularly in the first team of Tottenham.
"He took part in some 18 matches. So it makes sense that he wants to go somewhere where he will be a regular player. I don't believe that Spartak will become stronger with Sanchez.
"This transfer will not interfere with Zenit in any way. He will not significantly interfere in the fight for the championship."
