Former West Ham United defender Trent McClenahan has joined Perth Glory as an injury replacement player for Scott Neville.
The 26-year old has signed an eight-week contract to cover for Neville who is expected to be sidelined for most of the season with a knee ligament injury.
Glory coach Ian Ferguson said he was delighted to have former Australia U20 captain McClenahan with the club.
"We're glad to have him on board," Ferguson said.
"He's a quality player who has captained his country at youth level."
Signed by West Ham at the age of 16, McClenahan spent 9 years in the United Kingdom with stints at Milton Keynes Dons, Hereford United, Hamilton Academical and Scunthorpe United.
