Former West Ham and Scotland midfielder Robert Snodgrass has revealed he could've been a Barcelona star.

Snodgrass attracted enquires from Barca when a junior player with Livingston.

He recalled on TalkSPORT: "Do you not know that story?

"We played for Under-17s at Scotland, a tournament at La Masia, then they contacted the club and all that stuff.

"There was a change of ownership and all that, I remember them telling me about the story. It was strange.

"Obviously I told my family, but you tell your family, a typical East End family and then all of a sudden everybody in Glasgow knows! It was everywhere.

"But it didn't materialise, I don't know for which strange reason."
