Craig Beattie has admitted there were plenty of offers for him ahead of his February move to Heart of Midlothian.
The 28-year old former Celtic, West Bromwich Albion and Swansea City striker scored his first goal for the Jambos in their 2-2 Scottish Cup quarter-final draw with St Mirren and afterwards suggested it could have been the Buddies he was playing for instead.
"We've got to go back to their place so a lot of people would say it's their advantage but I think we've learned a lot from today.
"They dominated and then we tinkered and got on top of them so maybe the advantage is with us because we know how to play against them.""I had a couple of offers and I had some dialogue with Danny (Lennon) but I think it would be disrespectful to St Mirren and Hearts if I spoke too much about it. All I'll say is there were offers," he revealed.
