Former Aston Villa trialist Alexei Eremenko is chasing a contract in England.

The 26-year-old Saturn player is in England to complete a transfer and said: "I don't want to say which club it is. I will stay in England for a few days and, hopefully, everything will be decided."

Eremenko's contract runs out at the end of the year and his Moscow-based club will not stand in the way of a transfer this summer.

The versatile former Lecce player is a free-kick specialist who once had a trial with Aston Villa.
