Former Aston Villa and Birmingham City boss Alex McLeish is keen on the Sunderland job.

McLeish would welcome the chance to speak with the Black Cats.

He told talkSPORT: "Of course it would. It's a big club.

"I am out of a job at the moment and it is a club that would certainly fascinate me in terms of going in there and trying to inject some confidence into those players."
