Former Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert is putting his Birmingham mansion up for sale.

The Birmingham Mail says the £2.8m seven bedroom Sutton Coldfield mansion - on the market right now - is understood to be the former home of ex-Aston Villa boss Lambert.

Foxwood House was built in 2009 and sits in the exclusive Four Oaks Estate, meaning any diehard Villains with the best part of £3m spare could count legendary chairman Doug Ellis as a near neighbour.

Lambert is expected to spend some time in Germany this year with former club Borussia Dortmund.
