Ex-Villa boss Gerrard discussed at Leeds

Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard could be in line for a return to management this summer.

The former Rangers and Aston Villa boss has been out of work since his firing at Villa Park earlier this season.

With the Midlands club improving leaps and bounds since Gerrard's axing, his reputation has suffered greatly.

However, The Sun states Gerrard could be in line for the job at relegated Leeds United.

The Elland Road club are also considering Carlos Corberan, while Sam Allardyce may still remain after his temporary stint in charge.

The source does add that with Leeds close to being sold to the San Francisco 49ers' owners, Gerrard may appeal to them as a marquee manager hire.
