Former Tottenham midfielder Jamie Bowden is back in England after a failed spell in Spain.

The 22-year-old was hoping to earn a move to Spanish side Deportivo de la Coruna.

Bowden played in a friendly for La Coruna's second team and trained with the Spanish club.

He has, however, not been offered a new deal and is now back in England to resurrect his career.

Bowden has faced a tough time in recent years, as he failed with a trial at AFC Wimbledon before he headed to Spain.
