Sacked Swansea City boss Michael Laudrup is expected to be appointed new coach of Qatar's Lekhwiya.
Laudrup had previously distanced himself from the jobs at Southampton and West Bromwich Albion, claiming he wanted to work at a higher level.
The Dane's new club is owned by the Al-Thani family, which also has Paris Saint-Germain in their football portfolio.
