Sacked Sunderland boss Paolo di Canio is being linked with a return to Sheffield Wednesday.
The Owls axed manager Dave Jones after they went down 2-0 at Blackpool on Saturday.
Di Canio, a former Wednesday star, is an early favourite for the job.
